BREER LIMITED
Breer is a food upcycling startup that collects unsold, uneaten, surplus bread and uses it to brew local craft beer. Beer is brewed using three main ingredients—78% barley, 13% hops and 9% yeast—and Breer replaces the barley part with bread. To date, they have brewed more than 12,000 litres of beer, using over 10,000kg of bread that would otherwise have been wasted.
